Kick-off meeting in Athens: nice to meet F2F finally!

#CREW managed to navigate its developmental activities through COVID-19 times without any face-to-face meeting for more than a year. Needless to say, how special it was to a have a real kickoff in Athens at the very end of November 2021, finally.

All partners made a brief presentation about their organizations, and shared information concerning the ongoing Erasmus+ projects they are in charge of. It helped us to know each other better.

One of the main topics of interest was a project monitoring check by Lithuanian National Agency, which took place at project’s coordinator, NGO VERSLI MAMA, premises. Among other questions, there was also an inquiry in intellectual property rights of project intellectual outputs, i. e. to whom they belong after the completion of project activities.

Thanks to Greek partner Kokkalis Foundation, their lawyer explained that property rights of intellectual outputs belong to the National Agency of the country coordinating the respective EU program. The rest of the partners have no right to use the outputs, unless they get permission from the National Agency, i. e. by Lithuanian NA.

As for the dissemination of the project except for the social media and the multiplier events, partners were kindly asked to distribute project’s material to their social partners and stakeholders for evaluation and their feedback.

At the end of the kickoff, in the context of another project Austrian partners demonstrated a virtual reality simulator. All partners had the chance to interact with this tool and understand its use in the adult education field.

Next face-to-face meeting, hosted by Spanish partner M&M Profuture Training, will take place in Barcelona.
